ABOUT THE PHO

Pho is a treasured Vietnamese dish. When we serve a bowl of pho (pronounced fuh) at our restaurant, the first thing that hits you is the aroma. It’s from the broth, beefy and light with hints of roasted ginger and onions, star anise, cinnamon, and cilantro. The rice noodles are cooked fresh and come out silky. Each meal is complemented with a side plate of crisp bean sprouts, a few sprigs of basil leaves, saw-leaf herbs, a lemon wedge and green jalapeño, so you can customize it to your liking.

At Ha Long Pho Noodle House, we know that a wholesome and healthy meal is tantamount to a good dining experience. That’s why we have devoted time and talent into creating the most crystal clear broth in Honolulu. We let the broth simmer for hours and use a continuous skimming method to extract all the fat, while leaving in all the natural flavors of the meat, spices, and aromatics. Wherever possible, we source all our ingredients locally to take advantage of Hawaii’s breadth of ingredients.

Go ahead. Sip, slurp and savor the complexity of this timeless dish from our family.
