Dear customers and pho’natics,

Peace be with you. As loyal supporters of Ha Long Pho, I wanted to share an announcement with you.

During this time as we all deal with the uncertainty of this pandemic, it is important to ask what matters in life. Most of you would agree that it is health and family. This is why effective immediately, I have exited the business and have passed it along to my brother Paul so that I may focus on my health and my family.

I am so grateful that I will be able to enjoy more time with my children, Lexi (8) and Ian (5), and care for my elderly father who many of you know is struggling with chronic Parkinson’s disease.

As one of the founders of Ha Long Pho, I had the privilege and the honor to serve you, our patrons, for the past eleven years. I am so honored to be able to share this time with all of you. With Ha Long Pho now being well established in our community and operating effectively, it’s the natural time to pass down the chain of command.

My brother Paul has worked side-by-side with me from the beginning and I am very proud of him. As you might imagine, it took months of soul-searching to reach this difficult decision. Thank you for all of your support, prayers, and encouragement along the way.

As Ha Long Pho continues to open our doors to you for carry out, please know that we are striving our best to keep you and our staff safe. Thank you for your patronage. Thank you for continuing to support our small family business.

I am confident that Paul will be able to continue our mission of serving delicious traditional pho in a family friendly environment.

May God bless you and protect you during this challenging time.

Sincerely,
Janice T. Nguyen
